Those Who Have Been Spiritually Bruised - Thomas watson

The Lord has always been most solicitous for his bruised ones. As the mother is most careful of her children who are weak and sickly, "He shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom" (Isa 40:11). Those who have been spiritually bruised, who like lambs are weakly and tender, Christ will carry in the arms of free grace.
